The home page of the website has details on setting up of MUDA, its growth and its function. There is also information on the ongoing projects of the MUDA, availability of sites, and how to apply for the sites online.

Services available

The website also has question and answers providing complete information on the services available and the process, making it easy for those who would like to apply for MUDA sites.

Separate icons have been provided comprising details on the financial status of the Authority, various projects, Acts, and ordinances.

There are also provisions for the public to elicit their opinions. They can also send messages related to the same. The sender can SMS their name, e-mail address, and also write to MUDA.

Additional info

Details on whom to contact, in case they need added additional information, have been provided along with phone numbers of MUDA office and email ID.

Speaking to Deccan Herald, MUDA Commissioner K Mathai said that a majority of the people do not know about the functioning of MUDA, which gives rise to many assumptions and rumours. In an effort to put an end to it, it had been decided to launch a website to maintain transparency, he said.

Apart from Mysore, Mandya is the only city where the Urban authority has a website of its own, said Mathai. The Municipal Reforms Cell of the Urban Development Department has designed the website. Details will also be provided in Kannada, shortly, he added.
