Located at the heart of Indiranagar on 100-ft Road, Catch Marine, started two years ago, has most of the office-goers and residents, hop in for a quick dose of their favourite seafood. The sauces are what make the dishes exceptional in its taste and presentation.

Among the popular dishes are Neptune’s Seafood Platter that comprise prawns, fillets of sea sole, squid heads, calamari delicious and chilli garlic mussels. The spices are all in right quantities, not taxing your taste buds too much.  The Crazy Combos come with grilled prawn, soaked in white wine saffron sauce and decorated with ocean crumbed fried calamari rings.

The non-veg combo is just right for those who want to consume a combination of non-veg but in small quantities. It comes with chicken pyramids, chicken wings and other variations in chicken and fish— all deep fried and served with the right sauce.

The lamb chops with red wine glaze and prawn tossed with panda chillies are a bit too spicy but it’s perfect with a drink. There’s  crazy combos that are served with fried rice or noodles, mashed potato, potato wedges, spring vegetables. Popular with the regulars is John Dory, an Australian fish dish which is sunk in a mild flavoured sauce.

“The weekends are packed and our platters are popular. We have introduced Sunday buffets and soon plan on introducing happy hours, depending on the response we get,” said Vineeth, manager of the restaurant.

The desserts are what take the cake at Catch Marine. The hot fudge bonanza split with vanilla ice cream ribboned in with hot fudge and butterscotch toppings, fresh banana slices, almonds whipped cream, jimmies, cherry and wafer, almost doubles up as a meal by itself.

The chocoholics can dive straight into chocolate killer avalanche that comes full with chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie, chocolate fudges and chocolate truffles.
