Karunanidhi's wife hospitalised

DMK chief M Karunanidhi's wife Dayalu Ammal was admitted to a private hospital tonight due to dehydration, party sources said.

She was not keeping well since afternoon and was admitted to the corporate hospital later in the evening, they said without divulging details.

Ammal, besides former Telecom Minister A Raja, DMK Rajya Sabha MP and Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi and 16 other accused have been summoned to appear on May 26 by a Delhi court which took cognisance of a charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case related to the 2G scam.
