The qualifying rounds for the event that has attracted 1,110 shuttlers will be held on Sunday and Monday followed by the main draw.
The final of the Rs 1.80 lakh prize money tourney will be played on May 30.
Former junior national champions Rohan Castelino and Ruth Misha will be among the big names to take part in this event along with GM Nischitha, Poorvisha S Ram, Prakash Jolly, Daniel S Farid, BR Sankeerth, Ashwini Bhat, Mithula UK and Richa Muktibodh.
Promising State shuttler Abhishek Yeligar has been granted the top seed status in the men’s event, a runk above Daniel.
Ruth leads the seeding chart in the women’s category with Savitha RN slotted below her.
