The Pakistan Cricket Board is waiting for the annual executive board meeting of the ICC to take place in June before it expects the BCCI to announce the details of the MOU signed between the two Boards for a seven-year period.

The PCB and its chairman, Najam Sethi, have come under fire from various quarters, including former captain Javed Miandad, who have raised doubts over the authenticity of the MOU the PCB claims to have signed with the BCCI for six bilateral series.

“The MOU has been signed and the secretary of the Indian Board, Sanjay Patel, signed the document on behalf of the BCCI. But they will release details of the MOU after the ICC annual body meeting in June,” a senior official of the PCB told PTI.

As per the MOU, Pakistan and India will play six bilateral series starting from 2015 to 2022 and four of them will be hosted by Pakistan either at home or at neutral venues depending on the security situation.

The PCB is expecting to generate millions of dollars from these series.

The PCB official explained that the MOU with India had been signed on condition that the PCB would not oppose the resolutions that have to be passed at the annual ICC meeting in June which would give legal cover to the recent governance and financial model changes recommended by the Big Three -- India, Australia and England.

“That is our understanding with them once the resolutions are passed the details of the MOU would be confirmed by the Indians themselves,” he said.
