<p>A 34-year-old man was assaulted by his younger brother in AK Colony in Domlur under Ulsoor police limits on Friday night.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to police, Shankar, 34 and his younger brother Shivashekar, 32, were neighbours at AK Colony in Domlur and worked as daily wage workers.<br /><br /> On Friday night, they started arguing over petty issues in an inebriated state. <br /><br />When things went out of hand, Shivashekar, took a machete and hit Shankar on his head. <br /><br />Hearing his screams, neighbours came out and saw Shankar lying in a pool of blood and rushed him to a nearby hospital. <br /><br />His condition is said to be stable and currently out of danger.<br /><br />The police have arrested Shivashekar and have registered a case.<br /></p>
