<p>Four unidentified bike borne miscreants assaulted two persons and made away with a two-wheeler and valuables near Metro Hotel on Mysore Road under Byatarayanapura police limits on Saturday night.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The victims are Harish, 35, and his friend Purushotham, 30, both residents of Jyothi Nagar on Mysore Road.<br /><br /> Harish, who owns a scrap shop in Cottonpet, was returning home on a two-wheeler with Purushotham. <br /><br />The miscreants came on two bikes and one of them rammed into Harish’s bike from the rear.<br /><br /> The duo fell down and the four people went to them, assaulted them with knives and made away with the two-wheeler, Rs 10,000, mobile phone and an ATM card. <br /><br />The victims went to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries and then to the Byatarayanapura police to lodge a complaint.<br /><br /> A police officer said that the complainant told the police that the miscreants were conversing in Hindi and that they would soon nab the culprits.<br /></p>
