Time for a rendez-vous

The function was attended by alumni from all disciplines, namely civil, mechanical,
electrical, electronics and communication. The attendance at the event was
better than what would have been when they were still studying.

Most of them had come along with their families from places as far as Dubai, United States of America and also from all over the country. They were very thrilled to see how their classmates had aged and were also delighted to meet their families. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane while recollecting incidents and people from their classes and also the names given to some of them.

Cultural events were held on the occasion.

There were wonderful performances of Bharatanatyam and dances to various popular tunes of Sandalwood and Bollywood movies.

The children of some of the alumni who had excelled in curricular and extra curricular activities were felicitated on this occasion. Also a book containing details of all the batch mates was also released. Tributes were paid to the departed batch mates and also to late Haranahalli Ramaswamy, who was one of the founders of Malnad Technical Education Society.
