Sen and sensibility

The movie has been scripted by Aparna herself. Though Iti Mrinalini is partly fictional, Aparna admits that a part of the movie has been inspired from many incidents in her life as an actor. “Many of my experiences are inevitably reflected in it,” says Sen. The film tells the story of an ageing lady Mrinalini, who has decided that she must choose the time of her exit from the world. While writing her suicide note, she revisits  her past. But by the end of it, her resolution has changed and she is ready for a new beginning.
