Indian-origin Peeyush Gupta was on Wednesday appointed non-executive director of National Australia Bank (NAB), one of the largest financial institutions in Australia.
Gupta is currently a non-executive director of NAB subsidiary National Wealth Management Holdings, and will start on the new role on November 5, 2014. He will replace Geoff Tomlinson, who retires in December.
In addition to wealth management experience, he also has extensive corporate governance experience.
