Among States, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat witnessed the highest number of transactions, the census reveals. Futher, accoring to the findings of the census, about 181 rural towns have been established as active entrepreneurship hubs —— selling to domestic and foreign buyers.
Export hubs
Similarly, it has identified 226 export hubs which have transactions with 172 countries globally. Indian exports include horse saddles, Freemason collectibles, Bollywood memorabilia, Steel Dabbas and Cricket bats. According to the Census, the most favourite traded vertical in the domestic market is techonology constituting 44 per cent, while in global trade lifestyle ranks number one with 64 per cent of trade happening in this verticle.
