It is really surprising that people supported T John, a weak candidate who never responded to the development needs of the district. But I admit my defeat. It’s not new to me. It’s not my attitude to sit inside home afraid of defeat,” Medappa said.<br /><br />BJP District Organising Secretary B D Manjunath said the party State leaders are collecting information in connection with the party’s defeat in the district. <br /><br />However, neither Medappa nor Manjunath did answer the questions on the lack of unity among the BJP leaders and differences of opinion.<br /><br /></p>
