JOIN USFollowing plans to expand its brewing base through the acquisition of brewery assets, United Breweries Ltd said on Thursday that it has acquired the assets of Pacific Spirits at Shahjahanpur in Alwar district of Rajasthan for Rs 105 crore.
This follows the completion of formalities with regard to endorsement of statutory licenses in the name of United Breweries Limited, the brewery assets like land, building, plant and machinery of Pacific Spirits. Following this acquisition, United Breweries will be able to expand its production capacity in Rajasthan to cater to expected further growth in the market, the company said in a statement.
Pacific Spirits has not been operational for a while and UBL will further invest to make the brewery operational before the coming season.
