Critical 'qawwali' on stage

He staged an entire satirical qawwali analysing the way film critics work and announce their verdict on any film.
 
Through his qawwali, Sajid gave examples of big blockbusters like Sholay, which were declared by critics to be doomed at box|

office. (Ramesh Sippy, seconded his opinion later, remembering how many newspapers had predicted Sholay to be a wash out, and it turned out to be the biggest landmark hit of Bollywood!)

Sajid went to point out that even films like Chak De India and Om Shanti Om were
predicted to bomb at the box office by the critics.

The tongue-firmly-in-cheek number, though high on the comedy quotient; left everyone wondering what will happen when Sajid’s next film will be round the corner?
Will the critics spare him is something only time can tell.
