A brass band performance and a flash mob, as part of the Bangalore Peace Project, will be held on November 2, 6 to 7.30 pm at Orion Mall, Rajajinagar.

The evening will see over 80 girls from Bishop Cotton Girls’ School playing popular tunes like ‘Circle of Life’ from ‘The Lion King and ‘Abide with Me’.

They aim to deliver the message of peace through this programme.

The project involves 15 schools from across the City and the students will be taught about peace through creative and innovative means.

It includes an array of activities such as ‘Bards of Peace’ (peace poetry), ‘Pixels of Peace’ (peace photography), ‘The Inner Peace Education Program’ and finally, the lighting of the ‘World Peace Flame’, which will take place for the first time in India at the UB City Amphitheatre, next year.

The grand finale will have about 400 performers from different schools displaying their message of peace in the form a choir.

The event is organised  by ‘Imbroglio Productions’, in collaboration with Bishop Cottons Girls’ School and supported by The World Peace Flame, Netherlands.

It is being led by Divyesh Bhandari, the Director of Imbroglio Productions, who will bring the ‘World Peace Flame’ to India. “We are fortunate to be a part of the project which has given us a chance to experience the world around us.

As a peace representative, I am enthusiastically involved in organising activities that will teach and deliver the message of peace to youngsters,” said Dahanavi Sundaram, the peace representative from Bishop Cotton Girls’ School.
