Brawl leads to murder

The accused, Manjunath, son of Narayanamma, used to fight with Kelavaraj, who allegedly had an affair with Narayanamma, after the death of her husband. This used to irk Manjunath.

On Monday night, after a drinking session, Manjunath and Kelavaraj both turned violent and a fight ensued. Manjunath picked up a wooden sickle and beat Kelavaraj to death.
The Amruthahalli police station have registered a case of murder against the 20-year-old, who is now absconding.

Body found
An unidentified body of a 35-year-old man, torn apart by street dogs, has been found in Naganathapura in the Parapana Agrahara police station limits.
Police said that the body is yet to be identified. The body has been sent to Victoria hospital for post mortem.
