Batting first, St John’s managed 189 in their stipulated 30 overs for the loss of one wicket. Prithvi top scored for them with an unbeaten 83 as Kenneth and Shreyas supported him with valubale contributions of 35 and 25 n.o. respectively.
In reply, Venus International could only manage 78, as they were bundled out in the 26.1 overs, courtesy a disciplined bowling performance from Erik (4-12) and Kenneth (3-8).In the two other first division matches, Cambridge School and St Paul English School’s triumphed.
