The local MLA M Krishnappa launched the programme by planting 20 saplings in the garden. Saplings were sold on the occasion. To bring back the lost glory of Garden City to Bangalore, the BBMP started Hasiru Santhe recently, which would be organised twice every week at all the BBMP zones.
