Sushant Singh Rajput to play 'captain cool' Dhoni

Of late, tinsel town is abuzz that Bollywood heartthrob Sushant Singh Rajput will be soon seen portraying the character of Indian captain MS Dhoni in his next.

The first look of Sushant as Dhoni, in which the actor is seen sporting long hair, has been revealed on Instagram, a social-networking platform.

Talking about the film, the actor says that he is an ardent fan of cricket and thus he chose to take up this role.


Rumors were doing the rounds that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was against the making of this biopic on Dhoni.

However, BCCI recently cleared the air stating that all is well if the film doesn't have a negative impact on the Indian captain's professional life.

The film titled 'MS Dhoni: The untold story' is going to be helmed by director 'Neeraj Pandey of 'A Wednesday' fame.

Besides Sushant, popular south star Ram Charan will also be starring in the movie.

Apparently, Ram Charan will be playing the role of cricketer Suresh Raina, who is a close friend of Dhoni.
