<p>The BMS College for Women, in association with Karnataka Nataka Academy, organised a day-long event titled ‘Nataka Rasagrahana Shibira’ recently at the college campus. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The theatre workshop, organised by the college cultural forum, saw the inaugural address and special lectures that introduced students to the nuances of theatre. <br /><br />The students watched the play after an introduction given by Lakshmi Chandrashekhar and N Mangala. ‘Agnivarna’, a Kannada play that was staged for the students, helped them look at life in a new way. They learnt a great deal about acting, lighting, make-up, and also about the cultural and social context of the play. <br /><br />It was overall an enthralling experience for all the students taking part in the workshop.</p>
