After being in the eye of the storm for wrong reasons, TaxiForSure has come up with several measures such as panic button in taxis, besides starting a training school to impart soft skills to drivers free of charge.

TaxiForSure is all set to launch the TaxiForSure Driver Finishing School which will be open to all drivers - from taxi drivers to one’s personal driver to enhance their soft skills and more. The Finishing School will be open to all licensed drivers and they can avail of the six-day course for free.

To begin with, TaxiForSure will launch the Finishing School in Bengaluru and will open similar schools in every city where they are present.

The Finishing School aims to create drivers who do more than just drive. The course is designed with an objective to add to the current skills of the driver and help them interact with customers in a better way.

Speaking on the initiative, Aprameya R, co-founder and director, TaxiForSure, said, “This is the need of the hour because of a mismatch between customer expectations and the present skill sets of drivers. The Finishing School aims to bridge this gap. We would like to instil confidence among customers when they see a driver with our finishing school medal. We plan to bring in the best faculty and trainers to engage with the drivers.

TFS is also getting panic buttons installed in the cabs operated by their partner operators. The button will be located near the rear passenger seat in the cab.
As soon as a customer presses it, a signal is sent to the company’s control room to alert about the emergency. The control room team will get into action and will contact the passenger and the driver to understand the situation.
