Aamir's 'PK' joins the 100 crore club

Despite the criticism and controversies, Aamir Khan's comedy drama 'PK' has made its way to the 100 crore club by grossing Rs. 116.63 crore in just four days.

On the first day of release, the Aamir Khan starrer left the cash registers ringing by minting Rs. 26.63 crore.

On the second day, there was a 15 percent rise in the collections, which amounted to Rs. 30.40 crore.

On Sunday, it collected Rs. 38.24 crore and on Monday it grossed Rs. 22.40 crore.
Overwhelmed by the success of the film, actress Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to express her gratitude and love for fans.

The 'PK' actress tweeted:

When Aamir's 'PK' is the most-talked about movie these days, friend Salman has apparently missed watching it.

Giving an explanation as to why Salman hasn't seen his movie yet, Aamir, while interacting with the shutterbugs said, "No he (Salman) hasn’t seen it yet but he will see it soon. He has been travelling in and out of Bombay so he hasn’t been able to so far."

Though 'PK' failed to surpass the first day collections of 'Happy New Year' and 'Dhoom 3', it has definitely outdone Salman Khan starrer 'Kick'.

Besides Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, 'PK' stars Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput too.
