Citizen unveils new range of watches

All four are powered by Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology that enables them to function without a battery.  Briefing reporters, company Managing Director Isamu Kawaguchi said “unlike most other non-battery watches these do not depend solely on solar power to charge.

Our technology enables the capacitor to charge and store energy from any source of light like tube light, moon light et al.”  While AT0787-55F boasts of features like 24-hour (date) display, water resistance up to 100 metres, the 34 diamond studded watch comes with a cabochon crown, mother of pearl dial, stainless steel bracelet and water resistance.

The radio controlled watch Calibre H610 boasts of Citizen’s flagship technology, wherein the watch captures radio waves and automatically adjusts the time and date. The watch also comes with power reserve indicator, alarm and is water resistant to 20 bar.
