<p>Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party sank in Delhi, a dozen of their supporters stood their ground amidst hundreds of AAP workers to celebrate the victory of the BJP candidate from Vishwas Nagar.<br /><br /></p>.<p> They were teased and mocked by the AAP workers, but except a brief while in between, they took it all in good humour, reports DHNS.<br /><br />Not a single BJP supporter was visible on Tuesday morning in the area earmarked for supporters of different parties near the counting centre in Akshardham. But at 12 noon, a dozen BJP supporters carrying party flags and wearing orange caps suddenly appeared to begin shouting pro-BJP slogans as Om Prakash Sharma was declared victorious.<br /><br />While most AAP workers ignored them, a few stood facing them and began shouting back anti-BJP slogans.<br /><br />“Kiran Bedi ka CM Kejriwal,” shouted an AAP supporter Mohammad Afsar. Soon, more people joined Afsar leading to a confrontation between the two groups. The face-off was disrupted by other AAP workers who cracked a few jokes in a bid to lighten the mood. <br /><br />“AAP won because you BJP supporters voted for us,” an AAP supporter told a BJP worker who immediately turned emotional. <br /><br />“If you (AAP) do not perform over the next five years, the public will kick you too on your behind,” the BJP worker Hari Prasad told AAP supporters there.<br /><br />Another AAP worker then consoled him saying, “Cheer up, at least the Congress hasn’t come to power”. Members of the two parties then climbed a wall to wave their respective party flags together.</p>
