Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said that he would include setting up of yoga centres in all government primary schools and government hospitals in the State in the upcoming budget. There will also be ayurvedic centres in government hospitals in all district headquarters.

Speaking at the Founders’ Day programme of the S-VYASA Yoga University here, Siddaramaiah said he too was a yoga student of the varsity for the last three months and this had helped him manage his diabetes better.

Regarding the controversy over the land acquisition bill, he said the State had not given any details to the Centre and that it had not been consulted. NIMHANS director Dr D Nagaraja and CSTEP chairman Dr V S Arunachalam were present on the occasion.
