A six-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a two-wheeler under the Devanahalli traffic police station limits on Sunday.
According to the police, the girl is Lakshmi, a resident of Devanahalli.
The accident occurred when Lakshmi and her father Anand were crossing the road in front of an oil mill. Kishore, 19, was speeding towards Devanahalli in a two-wheeler. He lost control of the bike when he spotted the father and the daughter. He hit Lakshmi who was tossed up in the air and collapsed. Kishore sped away, said the police.
Anand rushed his daughter to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The police are looking for Kishore.
