Build toilets for BMTC staff
The BMTC staff use footpaths and walls adjacent to the ramp – coming from Ramamurthy Nagar near Tin Factory – for urination when they park their buses here. All the passengers driving past the busy Old Madras Road can see this. Please provide them with toilets at least near the Tin factory bus stop.

Irregular garbage collection
For the last two months, garbage collection has been irregular at the 7th B Cross, UAS Layout. We do not know the reason and we do not know the supervisor also. It is a common sight to see bags and bags of garbage in front of each house. I have been trying the BBMP's computerized redressal system (Phone:22660000), but the number is out of order. The lady who sweeps the roads has also not been regular. Will the BBMP do the needful?

Footpath needs attention
The footpath on either side of the road from Jalahalli Cross signal to the Aiyappa temple needs immediate inspection by the concerned officials. Right next to the signal there is a missing slab.
There is also sewage stench here. Vehicles are also parked on the footpath. Making matters worse, the numerous transformers and electric poles on the footpath render the stretch useless to pedestrians. It is extremely difficult for people to walk in this area. Will the concerned authorities look into the matter immediately?

Road in shambles
The TC Palya Main Road near KR Puram is in shambles. It connects Old Madras Road and Ramamurthy Nagar signal at Ring Road and needs urgent attention from the authorities, especially from the Anandapura Junction to Old Madras Road Signal.
Wherever foot paths are available, they are encroached by the nearby shop owners and other vendors. In addition to this, both sides of the road are encroached by JCBs and sand laden lorries. Just the central one third of the road is available for vehicles and pedestrians. The road is also full of dust and small accidents are common here. Will the BBMP and the concerned departments take action to avoid major mishaps here?

Waste segregated on road
The garbage contractor for the BDA Layout, Ward 113, Jeevan Bima Nagar is using the 5th Main Road for waste segregation.
He said that the BBMP is yet to allocate space for ward wise segregation.
To add to this, the residents around take advantage of the dump and routinely throw their garbage here.
The contractor also does not collect waste from
the nearby Sudhamanagar slum stating that his contract does not cover that area.
I request the BBMP to look into the garbage problems here and clean up the mess on the 5th Main Road. Please allocate someone for garbage collection in Sudhamanagar as well.

Construction debris blocks road
People have been dumping construction debris and animal carcasses along Magadi Road towards Rajajinagar, opposite to Sujata
Talkies. Off late, waste is dumped on the road which is very inconvenient for commuters.
There is no one to monitor the road in the night, which is why people easily dump waste here.
The decaying animal carcasses also emit an unbearable odour.
I request the concerned authorities to maintain strict vigil at night, penalise people and see to it that there is free traffic movement on the road.

Inadequate water supply
I am a resident of Rajarajeshwarinagar, 4th Main, 2nd Cross, Beml 3rd Stage. We are facing issues with respect to the corporation water supply from the BWSSB. There is a BWSSB water tank behind our lane but the water is supplied only once in 10 days. The residents of the lane have complained to the corporator and all our efforts to get the corporation water supply on alternate days have been in vain. To add to this, the duration of water supply is only 3-4 hours, which does not fill even half of our sump. There is also a lack of maintenance in this lane from the BBMP. There are no garbage collectors or street sweepers here. The BBMP garbage collectors also visit the lane once in 10 days. All the residents here are paying tax regularly but we do not receive the expected services from the BBMP and the BWSSB.The BWSSB has to ensure water supply on alternate days for at least six to seven hours, with full force.
I request the corporators/ BBMP and BWSSB officials
to handle this matter immediately.

Apartment front turns dumping yard
Garbage has been accumulating in front of the VRR Midtown Apartments (No 18, 4th Main, Off Thippasandra 80 Feet Road, HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar), forcing residents to live under extremely unhygienic surroundings.
People throw garbage on the vacant plot opposite our building and also on the roadside.
The BBMP does not clear the garbage at all, which further worsens the situation due to stench. We have been living here for the last one year and we have tried to call the concerned authorities a number of times, but they haven’t taken any initiative so far.
To aggravate the situation further, stray dogs and rag pickers scatter the garbage all over and make a mess of the place.
People also use this space as a public toilet. Moreover, the accumulated garbage is burnt every few days.
Thick smoke rises from the burning garbage and enters the surrounding houses for at least seven to eight hours.
This is a health hazard for all in the area. People also dump unwanted building materials, old tyres, metal cans and more here.
When are we going to get respite from this problem, as the BBMP seems to be so indifferent towards the issue?

No water supply
I am a resident of the Jayanagar Co-operative Housing Society, Turahalli (Gublala), since 2003. This area comes under the jurisdiction of the Subramanyapura post (Pin 560061). The Society has nearly 575 plots in Phase 1. Over 150 houses have already come up and are occupied, in addition to a few that are under construction.
Water pipe lines have been provided to each plot. However, there is no water supply. The situation is similar in the adjacent Phase 2. Cauvery water has not been supplied so far and we are completely dependent on bore well water. Many borewells have dried up and the water shortage is acute.  We are paying the yearly BBMP Property Tax too. What is the status and when are we likely to get Cauvery water in our homes?
