It was a burst of colours, notes and fun at a recent gathering of P3Ps. To start the year afresh, Limelight had organised Blossoms of Colours and Music comprising four artists and a line-up of talented musicians.

Marked as the first art show of the year in the City, it was definitely an event many didn’t want to miss. The artists in the limelight, K G Lingadevaru, Krishnarajendrakumar, Ganesh P Doddamani and Rajgopal, were very excited and were eager to see the response of the viewers. “Events like these provide us an opportunity to not only showcase our talent but also let us experience people’s view of our art,” said Rajgopal.

Guests at the event looked forward to the unique combination of music and art. “Music automatically opens the doors of imagination and let ideas flow into one’s
mind, hence the combination is a powerful one,” said one of the guests. There were an eclectic mix of musicians in store for the evening. With a theme like world music, Rhythm and Raaga took centrestage and captured everyone’s attention.

Gopi, who everyone described as “the man who played with A R Rahman”, did not disappoint the crowd and showcased his talents through percussion and with
his bass guitar. Ranjan Kumar Beura on the violin also mesmerised the crowd. “This is only the beginning of the year. We are looking forward to many more get-togethers which is sure to rock the City,” said Lalit Sanghvi, one of the organisers.

The dress code too stole the show that evening. Colourful dresses and fitted jackets made their way into the galleria. The guests were also seen purchasing many of the paintings.
