The hosts registered a thumping 58-7 win over Gujarat in a Group ‘C’ match while Madhya Pradesh lost both their matches in the same group.

There was mixed luck for MTNL (New Delhi). They began proceedings with a convincing 73-39 victory over Madhya Pradesh, but lost their second match of the day against Maharashtra 12-42 in a one-sided encounter.

Haryana scored the biggest win of the day, beating a listless Uttar Pradesh (East) 117-19 in Group ‘A’.
