Once summer holidays ring in, it becomes a nightmare for parents to think of a possible place to take their children, where the young ones can enjoy and learn at the same time. In a bid to engage children this summer, ‘We Love Summer 2015’– a kids carnival is being organised in the city.

Claimed as India’s first edutainment festival, spanning over three weeks, the festival will be held from May 18 - 31. What will keep the children engaged and adults relaxed are the 30 unique children activities for children of all age groups.

Trainers from International brands will conduct sports activities alongside workshops of Sesame Street. IIT alumni will also share their expertise and experiences during the workshops and trainings.

The list of activities on offer include a week-long basketball and football camp, Kid Robots activation, Puppet Shows, pottery making by Murti Art Institute, cooking classes by renowned chefs of Leela Ambience, Theatre Workshops and Music Classes by Aman Bathla. The carnival will also present actor and storyteller – Kamal Pruthi. He will
narrate Kabuliwala stories to children.

The highlight of this children’s festival will be a 50x8 feet Mural Art Wall, to be created by the children themselves and unique games like ‘Throw Motion Cricket in Hi Def’ by Throw Motion USA. Special attractions for kids include meeting with Transformers on May 23 and 24 and Kisna on May 30 and 31.

“Summer vacation traditionally means freedom and leisure for parents and children—relaxing of rules, carefree days, new experiences, and less structure and routines. The festival is all about making sure that the children enjoy themselves thoroughly with fun filled activities,” says Arjun Gelhot, director, Ambience Mall.

The venue for the event will be Ambience Mall, Gurgaon and Vasant Kunj.
