<p>A Mumbai-Goa SpiceJet plane, with 146 passengers on board, landed safely at Dabolim airport here, despite one of its tyres found damaged during its take-off in Mumbai.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The plane landed at Dabolim airport in Goa at its scheduled time of 12.45 pm."We received a message, which said that there was slight debris of tyre on the Mumbai runway left over when this flight took off for Goa," Dabolim airport director K Srinivasa Rao told PTI.<br /><br />"We informed this to the pilot, who successfully landed the plane at Dabolim airport without any problem...It was a smooth landing," he said.<br /><br />After that, the tyre of the aircraft was inspected, Rao said, adding, "It was found to have been worn out. Another tyre also had a little problem," he said.<br /><br />Due to this snag, the aircraft, which was later supposed to fly back to Mumbai with 186 passengers, has been grounded at the airport.<br /><br />"Around 120 passengers have been accommodated in a hotel, while a few others have been sent in a Delhi-bound SpiceJet aircraft, while a few others, who were local residents returned home. Special flight will be arranged for them tomorrow morning," said Rao.</p>
