Many stocks reconstituted on BSE

Asia Index has announced the semi-annual reconstitution results for some of the indices on S&P BSE indices.

As per the reconstitution results, Tata Power has been excluded from the S&P BSE Sensex while Lupin has been included in the S&P BSE Sensex.  Adani Power has been excluded from S&P BSE 100 while Aurobindo Pharma and Tatamotors DVR A Ordinary have been included in the S&P BSE 100, BSE said.

Sanofi India, Hindustan Copper, Amtek Auto and Jaiprakash Power Ventures have been excluded while Ajanta Pharma, Suzlon Energy, Dewan Housing Finance, NCC and Tatamotors DVR A Ordinary have been included in S&P BSE 200. 26 scrips have been excluded while 27 scrips have been included in the S&P BSE 500, BSE said.


There are no changes in the S&P BSE Oil & Gas index and all these reconstitutions will be effective at the open of June 22, 2015, BSE added.


Besides, CMC, MphasiS and Vakrangee would be dropped from Teck index, while Persistent Systems, KPIT Technologies, Hexaware Technologies and Eros International Media would be added in the index.


In March, DLF and Naveen Jindal Steel & Power were dropped from the NSE’s Nifty.
