Without a compound wall, the open air theatre of Panchanahalli High School and PU College has become a ground for drunkards to spend their time during evening  and is proving to be a nuisance to the general public.

As the sun sets in, the drunkards enter the college premises. The cigarette packets and liquor bottles are strewn all over the premises. Without proper doors to the laboratory, there is a threat of theft of scientific equipment in  job-oriented courses (JoC) division of Government PU College.

The PU College building was inaugurated in 2005. However, owing to lack of maintenance, the building is in deplorable condition. The windows and doors have been damaged and the walls have developed cracks.

Owing to lack of maintenance, the equipment related to land survey is gathering dust.
After the State government scrapped JoCs , all the equipment have been dumped in a room.

No security at night
The college do not have a security in the night. The residents urged the government to maintain the college building and re start  job-oriented courses to help the rural candidates.
