JOIN USJD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy is not letting the lottery racket matter rest, despite the State government ordering a CBI probe into the illegal activity.
On Thursday, Kumaraswamy and other party leaders, including MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan, met Governor Vajubhai Vala, who he said, had asked his party to submit to him relevant documents pertaining to the illegality.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Vala, Kumaraswamy said the State government had indulged in several illegalities, and that he had sought the Governor’s permission to submit to him documents pertaining to them.
“This is not a corruption-free government, as is being claimed by the chief minister. The Governor, who has sought the chief secretary to furnish documents related to this, has also asked the JD(S) to do the same. We have also discussed several other issues with him, which we will substantiate with relevant documents in the coming days,” he said.
