The organisers intend to utilise the 48 acre venue to put as many as 400 stalls of agricultural equipments and produces, 240 ft by 160 ft pendal for the stage programme and kitchen with dinning hall. Demonstrations of various agricultural equipment, handicrafts and farming techniques will be held to enhance the knowledge of the farmers.
About 18 seminars have been scheduled during three days, which will participated by renowned scientists and farming experts from various parts of the state. Troupes from various states will stage entertainment programmes during the evening. Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Programme Director Dr H L Manjunath said that over 3 lakh people are expected to take part in the mela. Ministers, seers and various other dignitaries have been invited for inauguration and valedictory programme.
