Rakshith, Spoorthy win

 Rakshith RB and Spoorthy M V continued their good form to emerge victorious in the junior boys’ and the girls sections respectively of the Karnataka State-ranking table tennis tournament here on Saturday.

In the boys’ section, Rakshith was taken the distance by a resilient Neeraj Raj who took the game into the deciding game before conceding defeat 7-11, 11-7, 13-11, 8-11, 11-3, 7-11, 11-8.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ final, Spoorthy beat Kushi V in a six-game affair 6-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-6.
