Noted industrialist M A M Ramaswamy on Tuesday ruled out any rapprochement with his adopted son M A M R Muthiah, alleging that he was not only disloyal but also ungrateful.

“I have disowned him and do not wish to call him my son,” Ramaswamy said. “Whatever the law may be, he is no longer my son.”

A visibly upset Ramaswamy said Muthiah had taken control of several companies, trusts and societies by deceitful means, depriving him of a substantial part of his assets.

“Not stopping with that, he compelled me to face litigations all over the place leaving no peace of mind at this age,” he said. The veteran industrialist’s tirade comes after Muthiah, previously called Ayyappan, recently attempted to reconcile with his adopted father and was willing to pay any fair.
