JD(S) legislator and former minister N Cheluvarayaswamy launched his son Sachin as the hero of upcoming movie ‘Happy Birthday’, while Congress legislator and former minister H M Revanna’s son Anup is the hero in the movie ‘Lakshmana’. Mahurat for both the films was held at the Kanteerava Studios.
Former prime minister and JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda clapped the mahurat shot for ‘Happy Birthday’. Senior JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy, actor-politician M H Ambareesh, Nirmalananda Swami of Adhichunchanagiri Mutt, cine stars Shivrajkumar, Upendra, Darshan, Yash and hundreds of their fans and followers witnessed the event.
CM attends muhurat
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah clapped the mahurat shot for ‘Lakshmana’. Ministers Ramalinga Reddy, cine star Upendra and a number of Congress legislators were spotted at the event.
Recently, Kumaraswamy launched his son Nikil Gowda as the lead actor in a Kannada movie.
The former chief minister had claimed that his son would never enter politics.
