While film director Rajkumar Hirani has admitted that Ranbir Kapoor is the only actor he has spoken to about playing the lead role in a biopic on Sanjay Dutt, the actor says it will be an immensely challenging part to essay.

Talks have been on about Ranbir getting cast for Sanjay's role in the movie. But the actor, who has shown his versatility through films like "Barfi!" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", told IANS: "Biopics are hard because you have to celebrate such a giant man's life on screen... I would really look forward to getting Sanjay Dutt alive on screen.

"It's a very challenging character, very colourful... he's had a very challenging life and I think it will be interesting to portray him on screen."

However, Ranbir clarified that since Hirani is still writing the script, nothing is finalised yet.
Hirani, in the meantime, has said that he will "starting the film next year".

'Tanu Weds Manu' helped Deepak get 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'
Actor Deepak Dobriyal, known for his effective supporting roles in films, says he was offered a role in Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" after his part in Tanu weds Manu"

"Sooraj-ji gave me a role in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and he told me, 'I gave you this role after watching your performance in 'Tanu Weds Manu'. So, I feel the response has been great and few characters leave a strong impact on the audience," Deepak said.

The actor is once again receiving plaudits for essaying the role of Pappi Singh in the latest hit "Tanu Weds Manu Returns". Kangana Ranaut's double-role may have turned out to be the star of the Aanand L. Rai-directorial, but Deepak's role as R. Madhavan's on-screen close friend has also been roundly applauded.

Varun donned NASA-designed blanket on 'ABCD 2' set
Actor Varun Dhawan, who anxiously awaits the release of his forthcoming film "ABCD 2" felt like being in a spaceship while shooting for a romantic song in the US for the Remo D'Souza-directed film.

According to a source, the cast of the film was supposed to shoot at below-zero temperature in a secluded part of the Grand Canyon, and the spot was high up on a mountain. One needed helicopters to reach the spot. So, the cast and crew was being dropped on location in twos.

Varun and Shraddha Kapoor were dropped at the location, and only then did the "Main Tera Hero" realise that his woollens were in a bag that was yet to come. While Shraddha had a shawl, Varun had no woollens to help him till the crew assembled.

Later, the location manager offered a space blanket -- originally designed by NASA for astronauts who travel into space -- to the actor. The blanket was silver in colour and it was heat reflective, which keeps the person from losing body heat.

The sequel of 2013 film, "ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance", is slated to release on June 19.
