Shikhar Dhawan trades gift bike for cash

Team India's opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan was gifted a motorbike for scoring 75 runs in the third ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka. However, Dhawan has traded the gift bike for cash.

Confirming this, Chief selector of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Faruk Ahmed stated that Dhawan has asked for cash equivalent for the bike, as reported in Deccan Chronicle.


Talking about the same, Shikhar Dhawan's father, Mahendra Pal Dhawan said that his son doesn't like to ride bikes anymore and thus, he has exchanged the gift bike for cash.

The Indian cricket team played one Test match and three One Day International (ODI) matches against Bangladesh from June 10 to June 24.

The Test matched finished in a draw and Bangladesh won the ODI series against India.
