'I'd be a great dad'

Though the Inglourious Basterds film-maker has been romantically linked to a string of actresses including Mira Sorvino, Julie Dreyfus and Uma Thurman, he never got married. According to sources, he is waiting for the right time.

“There was a time a few years back that I had baby fever. I wanted to have a kid and I kind of got over it — not that I don’t want to have kids but I just didn’t have baby fever any more. I just want to take it any way it comes. I’m really good with kids actually,” he said.

“You hear those stories like once you have kids, your life is over, but I actually like my life the way it is. That being said, I think I’d be a great dad. I’d like to come back and have me for a dad,” he added.
