Dastkar presents the eleventh edition of ‘Bangalore Nature Bazaar 2015’, from August 7 to 16, from 11 am to 8 pm, at Manpho Convention Grounds, No.90, Veerannapalya, Nagwara.

The exhibition brings together more than 100 craft groups, small producer groups, from 20 states across India. Dastkar always gives space to new craft groups in the bazaars.

The bazaar will offer a wide range of lifestyle accessories, striking jewellery and adornments, herbal beauty products, metal crafts, carved furniture and decorative products, pottery and ceramics, basketry and fibre crafts, leather products, traditional paintings, a variety of hand-woven, embroidered, block printed textiles, and more from every corner of the country.

Visitors at the bazaar can also relish a delicious variety of food and beverages at the multi-cuisine food court. On August 8 and 9, there will be an energetic ‘Gotipua’ cultural performance from Odisha. On August 14, there will be ‘Ruhi Sufi’ — contemporised sufi singing to energise the visitors.

Dastkar is also organising craft workshops in terracotta pottery; clay modelling, madhubani painting, making bags from newspapers and making banjara motifs on cloth. The workshops will be held on August 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16, from 3 pm to 5 pm. For details, call 9818944096.
