A fight broke out between two suspects in the Lokayukta corruption case, who are now lodged in Bangalore Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara on Friday.
According to prison sources, there was a verbal duel between Shankare Gowda, a real estate agent, and Srinivasa Gowda, a journalist, when they were having lunch. They were discussing some issues related to the Lokayukta scam and had a heated argument. They started hurling abuses at each other.
By the time they started a fist fight, the jail officials, who were informed, rushed to the spot and separated them. They were asked to maintain calm in the jail and were sent to different cells, fearing they might attack each other, sources said.
