Fashion aficionados understand the sentiments attached to drapes and during a wedding the sentiment is heightened by several folds. Choosing your attire may be the first step to plan a large wedding, but as many say, little things in life are what matter the most. As the wedding season is on and fashion and lifestyle exhibitions are coming up, Metrolife gets a peek into the bridal collection of India’s best known fashion magazine, Vogue.

‘The Wedding Show’ acted as the arbitrator of luxury for its discerning audience. The show connected the families of brides and grooms to the finest brands in the bridal space, to be able to choose from the best.

The third edition of the wedding exhibition was hosted in the capital from
August 7 to 9.

It was able to get together prominent designers of the fashion world under one roof – showcasing their finest wedding creations, including wedding attire and jewellery – where people had personal interactions and consultations with the masters of their craft who effortlessly navigate the world of wedding planning. India’s top couturiers like Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Ritu Kumar, Sabyasachi, Shantanu and Nikhil, Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl, Vineet Bahl and for the first time acclaimed Pakistani designer Sania Maskatiya showcased their exclusive and latest bridal collections at the show.

Alongside the show, there were exclusive masterclasses, workshops and panel discussions from the industry experts who talked about bridal trends.

Speaking at the occasion, Priya Tanna, editor of Vogue India said, “Weddings in India are a celebration of love, the coming together of families and the beauty of tradition.  We have curated the most luxurious and custom-made wedding services in the bridal world, to help turn the wedding of your dreams into a reality.”
