M'lore United to play on the first day of KPL fourth season

The KPL team Mangalore United will play its first match against Belagavi Panthers on the first day of the KPL fourth season, scheduled to be held in Hubballi on September 2.

Addressing reporters in M’luru on Monday, team owner and Mangaluru North MLA B A Mohiyuddin Bava said the KPL 4th season would be held from Sep 2 to 17. The matches from Sep 2 to 9 will be held in Hubballi and the matches from Sep 11 to 17 will be held in Mysuru. The matches to be played by Mangalore United are: Mangalore United v/s Belagavi Panthers on September 2 at 2 pm, Mysuru Warriors v/s Mangalore United on September 4 at 2 pm, Bijapur Bulls v/s Mangalore United on September 6 at 6 pm, Hubli Tigers v/s Mangalore United on September 9 at 2 pm, Mangalore United v/s Bellary Tuskers on September 11 at 6 pm, Mangalore United Vs Rockstars on September 14 at 2 pm. The Mangalore United team consists of Ranaji player Karun Nair, Brijesh Patel, Rohan Kadam, K C Avinash, Shishir, Rohith Sabarwal and others.

Bava further said that a talent hunt will be held on August 16 and 17 at KREC grounds and interested may drop their applications at the MLA’s office in MCC building. Two best players will be selected for the Mangalore United team, he added.
