Mirdha, 87, was admitted to hospital on January 21 for treatment of kidney infection.
He was Rajya Sabha deputy chairman from March 1977 to April 1980. He was elected to the Rajasthan Assembly three times and was the Assembly Speaker from 1957 to 1967.
