<p>An Iranian national against whom there was a Look Out Circular (LOC) was detained by the police on Thursday before being allowed to fly out of the Kempegowda International Airport on Friday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Farzad Jafari Oulia was detained after the Immigration Office at the KIA checked his antecedents and alerted the police, said the inspector of the International Airport police station.<br /><br />“We brought him to the police station and he showed a visa, as per which he could stay in India till August 29. We contacted the Pune police as there was a case against him there for overstaying. He had already booked a ticket and flew out of the country accordingly on Friday,” the inspector.<br /><br />Oulia had arrived in 2012 on a student visa. He enrolled into the MBA programme at a college in Pune but his visa expired in 2013. He overstayed and became a disc jockey, spending his time in Pune and Goa.<br /><br />He was deported in March 2014 and blacklisted for 10 years. It’s not unclear how he managed to come back to India, the inspector added.</p>
