The suspension of its MPs from Punjab and its support to the “corrupt” in Bihar has exposed the Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s claims of “political morality,” said the Delhi BJP unit on Sunday.

“The Delhi government has not been able to address the issues faced by the public. The party has rather been spending crores on self-publicity. It is misleading people by making false promises.said Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta.

“We demand a white paper for the work done by the city government in the past six months,” Gupta added.

Demanding a “report-card” of the work done by the AAP in six months, the BJP said that the party should put its own house in order before publicising its “model of governance” in Bihar.

“While the AAP is busy publicising its model of governance in Bihar, two of its MPs from Punjab had recently claimed that the party has failed to deliver on its promises in Delhi,” said Gupta.

The Delhi BJP unit also slammed the Aam Aadmi Party government for lending support to Congress in Bihar.

“The way Kejriwal has extended political support to Lalu Yadav and Congress in Bihar, whom he used to accuse of rampant corruption, has exposed the hollowness of his claims of high political morality,” said Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party president Satish Upadhyay.

“The way Kejriwal has been running both the Delhi government and the Aam Aadmi Party, it is clear that he lacks the patience needed to hear the grievances of colleagues or partymen or the public.”

“The Delhi CM works on the philosophy of “me and my might.”

He added that soon after coming to power in Delhi, Kejriwal expelled his senior colleagues Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav from the party.

“It gave an indication of his autocratic behaviour. Now the way he has suspended his two MPs Dharamvir Gandhi and Harinder Singh Khalsa it has amply established his “Tughlaqi” autocratic mindset,” he added.
