<p>A meat-shop owner and a juvenile were critically injured when two bike-borne assailants shot them from close range, in what police said to be an act of personal enmity in outer Delhi’s Samai pur Badli. <br /><br />Ravinder, 24, and Vipin, 18, were standing in front of the former’s house when two bike-borne assailants came around 1.30 pm on Sunday and shot both of them from close range, police said.</p>.<p>Both of them were taken to the nearby hospital where they are battling for their life, a senior police officer informed.<br /><br />According to police, the assailants have been identified by the onlookers, and the act seems to be of personal enmity between Ravinder and the culprits. Ravinder used to run a meat shop and Vipin is a student of class 10. Ravinder allegedly had a heated argument few days back with one of the assailant and the later had warned him of dire consequences. <br /><br />Ravinder, however, didn’t take the warning seriously and didn’t report the matter to police.<br />Police are investigating the case by watching CCTV footage of the area. <br /><br />A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits and police team has been dispatched in locations where the culprits could have fled after the act.<br /><br />A case of attempt to murder has been filed in police station Samaipur Badli, police said.<br /></p>
