People’s love for peace and harmonious thinking in this part of the district has been the reason for communal harmony, he stated. He also appreciated the active participation of the Muslim community in the ‘Karaga’.

Reddy said, “Fights should not be based on communities. Humanity should be given importance. Communal disharmony and the resulting violence are many a times provoked by some vested interests. We should advocate a doctrine where humans should live amicably with each other”, he added.

Shameful

It is shameful that in the name of God and virtue, people are dying in the sea of blood in our country, he said, while adding that, people should be thoughtful enough to avert such incidents of disharmony in future for the welfare of the country, he said.

He wished that such programmes should be held in all parts of the Country, which he opined, would add to the harmony between the two religions. Gopal of Vijay Reddy Fans club, Venu and others were present in the event.
